Yellowjackets blank Hilltoppers

The Milton boys hockey team have been playing its some great hockey down the stretch of the regular-season finale.

The Yellowjackets had their final regular-season home game on Wednesday and came away with a big 5-0 win over St. Johnsbury.

Devon Jackson finished the game with two goals for Milton. Nick Desouza, Josh McQuinn and Cole Heisler also scored for the Yellowjackets.

Cole Gaudette had two assists in the game.

Jackson Ehler made nine saves playing the first two periods for Milton and Lucas Tourville made three saves in the third.

The Yellowjackets improved to 8-7-3 on the season with the win with a final regular season game on the road at Missisquoi on Saturday. The two teams battled to a 0-0 tie on Jan. 18.
