Telfer, Bobwhites blank Lakers for second time

For the second time this season, Mike Telfer posted a shutout as the BFA-St. Albans boys hockey team rolled through Colchester on Saturday.

Telfer finished the game with 24 saves, as the Bobwhites came away with a 5-0 win. It was the second shutout of Telfer’s career after he made 22 saves on Feb. 17 in a 2-0 win over Colchester.

Aiden Savoy tallied two goals for the Bobwhites, while Colin Audy, Matt Merrill and Parker Gagne each had a goal. Levi Webb, Sean Beuregard, Christian Vallee and Nathan Benoit each had an assist.

The Bobwhites improved to 4-1 on the season and will host Woodstock on Wednesday for their next game.
