It was a tough day shooting when the Missisquoi boys basketball team hosted undefeated North Country on Thursday.
The Thundebirds couldn’t find their rhythm and didn’t score in double digits in any of the quarters, as they ended up falling to the Falcons 44-25.
Missisquoi held tight in the first half before the Falcons broke things open in the second half outscoring the Thunderbirds 20-8.
Sean Power was the only Missisquoi played to reach double digits, as he finished the game with 10 points. Patrick Walker added eight.
The Thunderbirds fell to 2-2 on the season and will host BFA-St. Albans for their next game on Sunday.
