Enosburg 49, Richford 18

Ten different players scored for Enosburg during the teams win over Richford on Thursday.

Wyatt Boyce led the charge for the Hornets with 10 points for the game’s lone player in double figures. Devyn Gleason had six points, while Nate Robtoy, Daniel Antillon, Shea Howrigan and Silas Kane all had five points.

Enosburg improved to 3-3 on the season and will travel to Vergennes on Wednesday for its next game.

Will Steinhour had seven points for Richford.

Winooski 62, Milton 61

It was a battle when Milton hosted Winooski in a hard-fought boys basketball matchup on Thursday.

Winooski opened up a 33-22 lead at half before Milton worked its way back to tie the game late in the third quarter. Winooski retook the lead in the fourth quarter and held off a Milton comeback at the end, as Brandon Dallas Jr.’s last-second shot attempt for the win just missed.

Winooski ended up shooting 29 free throws to just 10 for Milton.

Dallas Jr. led the charge for Milton with 22 points in the game. Kyle Brown (18 points) and Adam Bilodeau (10 points) also scored in double figures for Milton.

It was the first loss of the season for the Yellowjackets who fell to 4-1 on the year and travel to Middlebury on Wednesday for their next game.
